The Hellenic Society of Perinatal Medicine (HSPM) is a scientific, non-profit making, association founded in 1976. The HSPM aims to promote the objectives of Perinatal Medicine that is the achievement of the best possible care for the fetus and the newborn through opinion-sharing and the exchange of knowledge. The Hellenic Society of Perinatal Medicine has so far carried out 15 international conferences and numerous scientific events. It publishes a journal entitled 'Perinatal Medicine and Neonatology' in collaboration with the Greek Neonatal Society.

The Hellenic Society of Perinatal Medicine is the society of obstetricians and neonatologists and all related specialties that deal with health issues of the fetus and newborn.
